Does obesity and plantar fasciitis cause elevated immature granulocyte count?

Hello doctor,

I am a 55-year-old female who is currently overweight, though I have successfully lost 60 pounds and aim to lose an additional 100 pounds. I recently received my CBC results, and I noticed that my immature granulocyte levels are higher than the normal range. Specifically, my immature granulocyte count is 0.6, exceeding the upper limit of 0.3 and my immature granulocyte absolute count is 0.04, surpassing the upper limit of 0.03. All my other white blood cell counts are within the normal ranges. My previous blood tests did not indicate any presence of immature granulocytes. In terms of medication, I am taking Lisinopril, NAC, Tudca, and Berberine. While I am not experiencing any symptoms, I am currently dealing with plantar fasciitis. Please help.

Thank you.

Does pain, tenderness, and a water-like discharge from the penis indicate HIV infection?

Hello doctor,

I have two instances and I am very worried about them. The first one happened 11 months ago, I met a sex worker at a spa while having intercourse there was some blood on the condom from the vagina, I stopped then and removed the condom. My paranoia thinks when she took the condom after removing something touched the tip of the penis and maybe that was the blood side of the condom. I had no symptoms or problems after that for five months but then recently, I had a cold-like feeling. Then again when somebody around me had a sore throat, I got a sore throat too.

The second one happened around few days ago I just had oral sex (receive) and intercourse with a sex worker. No condom was used. After that, I started feeling pain in my penis and it was tender to touch and clear water-like fluid came out when I pressed the penis urethra. I felt no other discharge. But I still took one gram of Azithromycin for one day and 500 mg for two days and Doxycycline 100 mg twice daily for seven days. There is tenderness present on my right inner upper thigh and when I started inspecting it deep, I felt a lymph node inside my thigh. My tenderness can be due to muscle stretch or strain but feeling a lymph node underneath was stressful. I am scared of HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) a lot. Please help.

Thank you.

Can heart-racing be indicative of anxiety and stress?

Hello doctor,

I am experiencing a heart-racing issue. I have undergone an ECG, X-ray, and cardio tests, but nothing abnormal was found. About a year ago, I had an anxiety issue, and after that, I started experiencing heart-racing issues as well. This occurs daily, especially when I try to sleep, mostly in the afternoon and sometimes at night. I would like to know if this condition can be cured and if I can take arjunaristha (an ayurvedic medicine) to alleviate these symptoms or if there is another medication I should consider. Previously I have taken dashmool ark and banafsha sharbat. I am unsure about the appropriate approach. Please help.

Thank you.

What is the alternative way of treating COPD?

Hello doctor,

I had difficulty breathing when I visited a doctor two months ago. I was prescribed Prednisone and Albuterol treatment for a week. Shortness of breath persisted for which I visited the ER and the doctor took a CT scan and I was diagnosed with COPD. Then I went to a pulmonologist who prescribed Trelegy 100 mg and Breztri twice daily. But neither of them seems to help. The pulmonologist ordered two heart tests to rule out cardiac issues and both were normal. If Breztri and Trelegy are ineffective for a person with diagnosed COPD what other medication could be prescribed to offer some relief for shortness of breath? The cardiac issue has been negative with a normal echocardiogram gram and nuclear stress test within the last month. Kindly give your suggestions. I am taking Lexapro 30 mg and with Romuflast I developed some side effects and stopped taking them.

Thank you.
