Q. I fall sick when I go out in the rain or take cold foods. What is the reason?

You seem to be suffering from vasomotor rhinitis. It is slightly different from allergic rhinitis.

To be sure we need to get more details:

1. Does rhinitis get triggered when you inhale dusty and polluted air?
2. Does it worsen when you go close to flowers and pollen?
3. Does it cause a nose block or a running nose?
4. Does it cause itching of the nose and eyes?
5. Does it cause watering of the eyes?
6. Does it cause sneezing? Is it associated with thick nasal discharge?
7. Do you get a headache? Is there a reduced sense of smell?
8. Do you get asthma/breathing trouble?

Treatment for vasomotor rhinitis is intranasal corticosteroids, but we need to be sure of the diagnosis.
