I have wisdom teeth erupted in the mandible. I suffer from severe migraine, and my doctors say it is from a tooth problem. I am afraid to do the surgery, but the pain persists. Please help.
I thoroughly read your query and understand your concern.
There are three main urgent problems with your teeth. After going through your reports and X-rays (attachments are hidden to protect the patient's identity) following are my suggestions for your problem:
1. You have to extract the lower left side wisdom tooth.
2. It seems your upper left first molar, which your dentist has done root canal treatment, put a post inside and a crown outside, is infected. It may have to be removed.
3. Your right lower first molar has a large abscess below it, which means, its root canal is also not done properly. So that also has to be either removed or RCT should be re-done.
I suggest you remove all these three teeth, and your headache may go away. Or at least go to a well-experienced endodontist and re-do root canal treatment for the two first molars, which I have pointed out above. And remove the wisdom tooth definitely, which I have mentioned above. Your dentist has done a very bad root canal treatment of all teeth. So find a good endodontist, if you want to save the teeth or get them removed.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
