Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

Acne vulgaris is a common skin problem in adolescents and in adulthood it involves pilo-sebaceous follicles or oil glands. It is therefore seen to involve areas where the oil glands are dense like in the face, chest, back, and upper arms which are the common sites of involvement. Your case looks like grade 1 to grade 2 acne.

I suggest you take the following steps:

  1. You can start using Faceclin gel (Clindamycin topical (1% w/w), Nicotinamide (4% w/w)) during day time over the pimples and Microbenz 3.5 % gel (Benzoyl peroxide) at night over the whole face for around two to three months. For cleaning the face, you can use Face care face wash (salicylic acid) twice daily.

  2. You have to do certain dietary restrictions like not taking oily or spicy foods, junk foods, milk products and non vegetarian foods. Drink lots of water which will keep your skin hydrated.

  3. All medicines should be used after consulting with your nearby dermatologist.

I hope you find my advice to be helpful. Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.

Thank you.
