Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. I am sure it must be tough. I did not want to respond to you in haste, and hence writing to you in peace. Please find my response below. At times, after a hysterectomy, there is a hormonal imbalance as the hypothalamus-pituitary ovarian axis becomes distorted due to the removal of the uterus. Due to less estrogen, there is a change in personality and mood changes. It will help if you undergo a few tests like a complete hemogram, thyroid function tests, serum FSH (follicle stimulating hormone), LH (luteinizing hormone), estrogen, testosterone, prolactin, and liver and kidney function tests. These are critical as they would help define the future course of action. There is evidence that individuals have benefitted from hormone therapy. But you should get these tests and reports properly examined and then proceed. Hormone therapy needs to be given under the supervision of a highly competent gynecologist. Please share the reports with me as soon as you can. I shall try to help you to the best of my capacity and do not hesitate to ask any other questions.

I hope this information will help you.

Thanks.
